Outfit: Breaking Down In Style….

I don’t consider myself a lucky person as a rule, yet lately I seem to be landing on my feet all over the place! Things are definitely looking up in the world of Steph these days, so much so that I’ve been wondering when it’s all going to come crashing down around me. No sign of that yet though, and just to prove my winning streak, when we had a little car trouble recently even that went crazily smoothly.

Basically we had a flat tyre on our way home from our trip last week, and when we called someone out to see to it we found we were in for a bit of a wait. Not to worry though, because this all happened in the car park of a pub! Not just any pub either, one of the more aesthetically pleasing of our estate, a lovely country house pitched on a river bank in Oxford. Complete with it’s own Island, natch. Oh! And a peacock! Not that I really noticed any of this, as I was happy and content sipping my G&T inside in the warm – we did try to go for a walk to pass the time, but I was wearing my trusty Dune Stretchys, and, well, beautiful they may be, but those boots ain’t made for walkin’. Particularly on river banks!

So, next time you’re planning a spot of car trouble, do it at a pub, I can highly recommend it as a great place to kill a couple of hours. Or you could just, you know, go to the pub. Actually yeah, on second thoughts, scrap the car trouble part. Just go to the pub…!
