Fantasy Friday – Dolce & Gabbana Lemon Print Dress

‘When life gives you lemons, make lemonade!’ goes the saying (though I prefer the version, ‘When life gives you lemons, drink tequila!’ myself. Even though I hate tequila). Life giving you lemons is, of course, supposed to be a bad thing, but if life has chosen to give you these particular lemons, it seems to me things are actually going pretty well for you…

This isn’t really the type of dress I’m usually drawn to – the print is very big and bold – but I just can’t take my eyes off this one. I have been warming to the colour yellow for a while now so maybe that’s partly why, but it’s just so darn summery, I can’t help but conjure up visions of me sipping Campari on a balcony overlooking an Italian lake, wearing huge shades and a floppy sun hat. I reeeeeeeally want it! Only problem is, it costs more than that bloody Italian holiday….

Guess I’ll just have to make do with the tequila instead!
