One of my favourite things about Spring has to be the way everything comes to life again after the cold Winter months. For those who don’t live in the UK, we don’t get pretty, crisp, white Winters here, we just get grey, and when those first shoots of green start appearing on the trees it’s a breath of fresh air. It’s wonderful to see colour in the world again, hear the birds singing in the trees and see flowers blooming. My favourite of all the spring flowers though are blossoms. There’s something almost magical about those delicate little flowers, especially when the petals flutter down on you during a light breeze. They make everything look a little more cheerful. They don’t last for long though, and I always feel a little sad when they start to disappear.
Luckily though, while the trees are slowly losing their blossoms, the shops seem to be stocking more and more, so even though I miss them in real life, I can always go for the next best thing and sport them on a pretty frock or skirt!
