Good news guys, I must still be feeling skinny, because it’s yet another eye-wateringly pricey pencil dress I’ve been drooling over this week!
This rather gorgeous number comes to you care of Dolce & Gabbana, and I actually think I like it even more than the last one, if that is at all possible. In terms of the style itself, it’s not dramatically different – it’s still a rather glam and slinky, bardot style pencil dress. But there are some differences that just give this one the edge. The obvious one is the print, of course, which is an eye catching floral design. Tulips aren’t a flower that features in florals all that often, and I love that it’s big and bold. As well as this classic black and white version, it also comes in a rather sultry dark purple colour, which is equally lovely. Next up, this one has a hemline that hits just below the knee, which creates a slightly more demure silhouette than the ‘Olga’, and I have to say I’m a fan. The third and final bonus is that the stretch-silk this frock is made of is cleverly ruched across the tum, meaning a spot of over indulgence would be easily disguised! So even though I’m feeling skinny right now, I’ll probably still love this dress once I’ve piled the pounds back on. In fact, I’m off to buy it right now!
Oh wait. I just remembered it’s Dolce & Gabbana.
Darn it.
Love,
