Sigh.

This will be a short post, because I don’t think I really need to explain why I love this dress so much, do I? Green is one of my favourite colours, and when it comes in the form of a beautiful, full skirted dress like this it is guaranteed to be love at first sight. If you then throw a load of intricate metallic embroidery on top of it?Well, you’ve got dress Kryptonite right there. Which is funny, because Kryptonite is green if memory serves. I really love that the shape of this is actually a little 60’s rather than my usual 50’s fodder, and really reminds me of something Audrey Hepburn would have worn, which instantly makes it a hit in my book regardless of the big skirt and green hue.
My only gripe with this is that I love to pair green with gold, and the embroidery is more of a silvery, pewter shade, so the obsessive compulsive in me would struggle with that combination if I added gold accessories (although the model in these pics is wearing gold shoes, so I’m aware that it’s probably just me with that problem). I think I could overlook that though, if only I could own these too:

This lame version of my beloved Louboutin So Kates is pretty much a perfect match, and though described as ‘antique silver’ have a slightly warmer tone to them, meaning I could trick myself into believing they were technically gold! Plus – they’re awesome, so there’s that…
WANT!!
Love,
I love the color of the dress! Its a great combo, you definitely have some great taste gurl 🙂
