Saturday Shopping – Fitzwilliam Collection @ Oasis

Question: Will Oasis ever create a collaboration collection I don’t fall in love with?

Answer: Not likely, not if they continue to look like this, anyway…!

Just when I thought they couldn’t possibly create another range of florals for me to be obsessed with, they go and do another vintage collaboration, the wiley minx’s! The styles are all classic Oasis – floaty midis, ruffled cold shoulders and wrap over tea dresses to name a few – but this time the flowery prints are inspired by The Fitzwilliam Museum Cambridge’s collection of botanical watercolours.

The result, as always, is just stunning. I particularly love the unusual colour palette of sage green, teal, navy blue and burnt orange, which is just that little bit different from the brights and pastels that everyone else is pushing right now. And much like their previous ranges, they have also managed to offset that vintage look with a modern twist – this time by arranging the prints in a geometric grid design. Just when I thought I had all varieties of florals….. I’m sold, how about you?

Ugh. That pleated dress needs to be mine. Why must you taunt me so, Oasis?? Find these treats and more here.

Love,

Sig
