So, Halloween is done. Bonfire night is done. And there was a heavy duty dusting of frost on the ground this morning, so as far as I’m concerned, Autumn is generally DONE DONE DONE! Which can only mean one thing – the festive season is upon us! So it is time to start fantasising about what Santa might leave us under the tree – and can you imagine if he left you these??:

Despite my constant whining about doom and gloom and cold and rain, I love the festive season. It is the one saving grace that keeps me from losing my mind in the months of seemingly eternal darkness. I love the frivolity. I love the twinkly lights. I love the eating chocolate and drinking Prosecco for breakfast! But most of all, I love the excuse to dress up in my blingyest, gaudiest clobber, leaving a trail of glitter behind me as I go! I have always been a bit of a magpie, attracted instantly to a glamorous bit of sparkle, and they don’t come much sparklier than this, do they?
So Kate is, of course, one of my all time favourite of Louboutin’s styles. I’ve featured them many a time on this blog, though never in the form of an ankle boot, and I have to say, I’m completely in awe of this super festive edition. What is not to love? Gold, silver, glitter, spikes, all atop the most perfectly shaped boot you could hope for. They are simply divine, and would be the perfect choice for a Christmas party – especially since you wouldn’t have to worry about freezing those little tootsies off while waiting or a taxi!
Of course, at that price I would have to have been hella good this year if I’m to expect a pair of these. Like, maybe win a Nobel Peace Prize or resolve Brexit negotiations or something? (**Starts Googling ‘How do you win a Nobel Peace Prize…?**)
Love,
These boots are amazing! I, too, am Googling how to win a Nobel Peace Prize…so maybe I can find these under my tree! I swoon! So pretty.
