Remember how I said last week that good things come to those who wait? Well, it works with sales too. If you have nerves of steel that is. I mean, it can be a bit of a nervous wait, watching stocks of that skirt you’re obsessed with dwindle by the day in the hopes a little more money will get knocked off. But if you can stomach it, it can work out in your favour. Take the Lindy Bop Mid Season Sale, for example. I spotted that they’d started one last week. Obviously I headed straight over there for a sneaky peek (well, I’d have to be an idiot not to, let’s face it) but after a quick peruse I decided to be good, as I’d already added a few new bits to the collection recently and the discounts weren’t quite generous enough to convince me I needed just one more.
Fast forward a week or so though and this morning I found they’d kindly emailed me to point out that they had now made further reductions, with lots of items now half price! Thanks, Lindy Bop! As it happens I’m still being good, frankly because my clothes rail is about to collapse and I’ve just had to order a new one, but if that hadn’t happened there are one or two frocks that would have SERIOUSLY tempted me, and I will graciously allow you the opportunity to buy them instead of me (just don’t like, parade them around in front of me or anything, ok? That would just be mean.) You’d better hurry, though, because it ends at midnight tonight. TONIGHT, PEOPLE!
