Well, the festive season may be well and truly done with and the twinkly lights and decorations all packed away, but my passion for all things bright red and flouncy hasn’t faded at all, if my lust for this gorgeous stretch-crepe midi by Thornton Bregazzi at Preen is anything to go by! Now, this would have been an excellent Christmas Day outfit! You know, if I was having Christmas Dinner with the Queen, maybe?
The only downside is that I wouldn’t be able to wear my Christmas jumper. Well, I could I suppose, but it would be a crime to cover up that beautifully crafted neckline, no? I could have worn The Christmas Shoes though…. But heck, if my Christmas Day dress was to cost that much, I might as well have splashed out on the shoes too, right? And while my inner Christmas Fairy would have loved to pair this with some gold or some glitter, I think I’d have to go with Christian Louboutin’s stunning Diva Cora velvet pumps. That gorgeous embellishment on the toes reminds me of Christmas baubles and frosty berries, and picks up the red tones of the frock without being too obvious a choice!
Maybe if I start saving now I could wear this get up next year?? That’s going to take a whole load of not buying coffee at work! Wish me luck!
