Oh my.

I don’t really know what to say about this dress, other than that it is just utter perfection. Not only is it one of my very favourite shades of green, but it is made from the most beautiful duchess satin, making it even more vibrant. It almost glows, and has those qualities that make you want to reach out and touch it (which might not be a good thing actually, if you happen to be the one wearing the dress at the time!!), and I haven’t even got onto the shape of it yet!
This already has the makings of an ultimate ‘Steph’ dress thanks to the acres of fabric included in that skirt and the feminine capped sleeves, but just look at all those clever seams – artfully placed to streamline the figure and make you look even more sensational. My only slight gripe is that I don’t think we’re seeing that lovely full skirt in all it’s glory, so I’d be tempted to add a petticoat just to give it that little extra ‘oomph’!
I’m not a fan, though, of the clumpy Miu Miu shoes they’ve paired it with. I think a much more delicate shoe is required to do this frock justice, with a slender heel to balance out the long length of the hem. In my eyes there is only really one colour I could choose to accessorize a jade green dress with, and that is simple, classic gold – like these darling Aquazzura Heels:

Sigh. A girl can dream!
Love,
