It’s a difficult time of year for me, shopping wise.
Little by little the shops have started to fill up with Autumn/Winter collections and it isn’t good for my soul. Seeing the knitwear and the boots creep in while it’s still warm and sunny outside makes me die a little inside, because I know it’s only a matter of weeks now until the skies begin to cloud over, the temperatures drop, and we begin the long, dark period otherwise known as British Wintertime.
Thankfully though, it isn’t all doom and gloom, because a few kindly retailers are still stocking some Summery items so that I don’t fall into a pit of despair. Summery to me basically means pastel coloured – I’m a complete sucker for those girly, ice-cream shades – so I was thrilled to stumble across this lovely little lot while perusing over at Joanie Clothing:
Top Row L-R: Ellis Dress, £40 – Evelyn Blouse, £19.60 – Megan Dress, £45
Second Row: Kezzy Dress, £45 – Paula Blouse, £16 – Thelma Dress, £38
Third Row: Megan Dress, £45 – Ava Skirt, £28 – Megan Dress, £45
Bottom Row: Meredith Dress, £38 – Petal Cardigan, £38 – Sunday Dress, £38
Joanie Clothing is relatively new on the retro fashion block, meaning I have to remind myself to head over for a visit. I’m never disappointed when I do though – they had a stormer of a Christmas season last year and after this rather gorgeous Summer collection I’ll be sure to bookmark it to make sure I never miss out! I’m particularly obsessed with that adorable Megan dress. Only problem is, I can’t decide which colour I love the most!
Are you ready for Winter now, or still clinging onto the sunshine like me?
Love,
