So, just a few weeks ago I mentioned that I hadn’t really featured many shoes lately on Fantasy Friday. Now it seems all I can post about is shoes, shoes and more shoes! Yes, this week I’m featuring another pair of shoes, and they’re even more festive than the last pair! I make no apologies though – January is fast approaching and we’re running out of occasions where sparkly red shoes are appropriate, so I need to get them all in as quickly as I can!
And let’s face it, it would be a crying shame if I missed the opportunity to feature these, wouldn’t it?
These rather glitzy beauties are by Alexandre Birman, a label I’ve not featured before on here, though going by these (and the other rather gorgeous bow covered beauties on offer) this most definitely be the last time I fall in love with a pair. As much as I said red glitter shoes were tricky to style outside the Christmas period, given that these fall in the barely-there category of shoe styles, I think they exude a more subtle glitz that you could probably get away with all year round. If not, there is a veritable feast of other styles to choose from that are a little less festive, including a few velvet pairs I’m also finding rather alluring!
Hmmmm, I sense a new obsession coming on… move over, Louboutin, there is a new Shoe King in town!
