Since getting back from holiday I feel like I’ve been really good. I didn’t buy any Hell Bunny clothes when they launched their new website. I didn’t even buy anything in the Lindy Bop sale. Heck, I didn’t even write a June Wishlist! It’s not like I didn’t want to shop – I really wanted to shop. I just felt like I’d spoiled myself so much buying treats for the holiday that it really was time I dialled it back and started giving my savings account the attention it deserves. And for a while, it wasn’t too hard. I mean, I saw plenty of stuff that I liked, but it almost felt like I’d finally gotten to the point where you really COULD have enough striped skirts, and everything I saw was simply a nice-to-have rather than a must have.
And then I saw this:
Chicwish are literally doing this on purpose, I swear. I already own two versions of this skirt in green and navy. Then you already know how much I wanted the pink version when that came out. I’d been managing to resist it only because I’d already succumbed to the pink check two piece, but then I wore the navy one out to a ball last week (photos to come!) and loved it so much that my mind started creeping back to my pastel coloured obsession. I really, really wish I hadn’t stopped by to visit now, because the b******* have only gone and brought it out in baby blue, which as you know is one of my favourite colours! This skirt is no longer a nice to have. I NEED it. I’m actually thinking of maybe some sort of crowdfunding solution. Not sure striped skirt addictions would encourage enough sympathy though…
STOP IT CHICWISH! Stop it, for the love of god. And striped skirts…..
